What happens during the in-home consultation?
During your consultation, our designer will:
Evaluate your existing space
Take detailed measurements
Conduct a needs analysis based on how you live and use the space
Ask thoughtful questions to uncover storage challenges and goals
Discuss design ideas, materials, and layout options
This visit allows us to optimize any and all of your spaces.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. We offer complimentary in-home consultations with no obligation.
Do you use subcontractors for installation?
No. We use our own experienced, in-house installation team. Our installers have decades of combined experience with The Closet Connection and are not temporary or outsourced labor.
Are your products custom or pre-made?
Your closets and other spaces are custom designed and built. We manufacture our shelving and components locally in Dover, New Hampshire, allowing us to maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Are you a franchise?
No. The Closet Connection is a 100% locaL company — not a franchise of any kind — which means more flexibility, better service, and true accountability.

How long does the process take?
Timelines vary depending on the scope of the project. Because we are a local independent most projects generally take 2 to 4 weeks.
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed in one or two days.
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality, furniture grade materials that are both durable and attractive. Our designer carries samples for you to touch and feel during your consultation.
Do I need to clean out my space before installation?
Yes. The pre-installation requirements will be covered during your consultation.
